Also if you hold the jump button it will jump slightly higher than if you tap it quickly. it depends on the stage and situation of course ) You have the normal/short walk-jump, the longer run-jump and you can gain some additional distance if you double tap at the peak of your jump to glide.

Lastly, do you know which stage/painting IS NOT possible to get all of the lums? Is this an achievable goal that some players will work toward getting? Or is this something that no one cares really? Jumps. Elsewhere, I could see that I would need to jump high, but I could not find a way to jump to that height and there is nothing nearby to bounce off. For example, I would try to double tap to increase flight time or leap distance, but could never manage to do this consistently. However, there are many times when I would start on course, getting the first lum, but then veer off course shortly afterward. As you rightly pointed out, the lums are often laid out in a particular arc to signal the player when to jump and how far to jump. I appreciate the gesture.įor the jump, I am having a lot of trouble timing the duration and length of the jump/leap. Thank you for the warm reception, Alsaron, to this forum. I'm sure someone here is willing to help you out if they can, myself included when I have the time :) Scout the stage for hidden treasures such as plants (those you pull from the ground), skull coins, cages with trapped Lums etc.ĭon't hesitate from posting here on the forums if you struggle on a stage. As stated above, be sure to grab Lums in sequence, starting with purple.

Rescue all Teensies, they give you a lot of Lums. Every other extra heart you find on the stage in addition to the one you already have will turn into Lums. Some additional Lum tips for you to keep in mind when you struggle with gold on a stage: I promise you will improve a lot by doing so and you'll be running for at least silver or perhaps even gold in no time :)

Enable "ghosts" to see how other players do and learn from them. Do the challenges for fun and start with competing with yourself, see how far you can get. Don't be disheartened by the scoreboard, the names there are a mix of some really good and experienced Rayman Legends players and unfortunately cheaters. The only thing you get from online challenges (besides fun and just that, a real challenge) is extra points for your "Awesomeness" level which has no impact at all on the single player experience.
Rayman legends lums Offline#
Is it possible to "finish" the campaign playing the game entirely offline as single player? Yes! You can score gold and save all the Teensies on all stages in the game in single player. I tried some of the daily and weekly challenges and am disheartened by the ridiculously high scores in the leader board. I do not plan to play any of the online or social features (way too many cheaters). Is it possible to "finish" the campaign playing the game entirely offline as single player? Why do some enemies give you lums when you vanquish them but other enemies do not? Again, there appears to be no consistency. There is no consistency in this rule from level to level. For other levels, you can still score gold if you miss a lot of lums. For some levels, it is near impossible to score a gold if you miss even one or two lums (an example is the rescue Barbara mission).

I can't understand the logic in the number of lums you need to collect to score gold. In past Rayman games, are they players who can finish the entire game without missing A SINGLE LUM (that is, the player got EVERY SINGLE LUM in ALL levels)? Thus, there may be lums that you will always miss no matter what path you choose so that it is impossible to collect all of them. Going down one path often means that you cannot return to go down another path. In many "running platform" games, there are multiple paths you can take. Is it always possible to collect EVERY SINGLE LUM in each level? This is not obvious to me. I am puzzled as to the lums collecting bit of the game.
